Staff at the Academy have been committed to sourcing, developing and organising high quality electronic learning, teaching and revision materials with a clear focus of providing 24/7 access to these resources from any computer or device with an Internet connection. We are determined to engage with our whole community using electronic technologies, by providing remote access to resources and information that should help extend and enhance our services with our community.
In this section of our website you can get to resources that we feel will help you help your children.
Below you will find a link to the ‘Web’ of choice within our Academy Intranet. To enter these secure areas you will need to provide a set of credentials (username and password) that you can obtain either from your child (Learning Web and Revision Web) or from the Academy directly.

In this resource you will find:
- Access to Academy resources that will help your child with their studies
- Links to websites to help your child learn more about topics they are studying
- Access to your child's Academy documents and other school network areas

What will you find in the SIMS Parent app is as follows:
- Important information such as attendance and achievements – with mobile notifications (if you have them switched on) sent in the early evening
- School term, inset dates and contact details available at the click of a button
- Your child’s timetable
- Access to update your contact details, so we always have the most up-to-date information in case of emergency
- If you have more than one child at school, you’ll have access to information for all your children, from the same app
The information that you receive through the app will help you to stay up-to-date with your child’s school life as well as support your child’s development and progress.

- Access to historic examination papers and mark schemes by relevant examination boards - we see this as the best kind of revision as it is a simulation of the real thing!
- Links to useful revision websites/tools that are either free or that we subscribe to.
- Access to a spreadsheet containing examination boards for the qualifications we are delivering.
