The Duke of Edinburgh’s (DofE) Award Scheme is the world’s leading achievement award for young people, and is highly regarded by Universities, Colleges and Employers. It encourages young people to develop independence, commitment, leadership and teamwork through being involved in a personalised programme of activities.

BCA is delighted to announce that we have received a grant from The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) Diamond fund – enabling us to reach and support more disadvantaged young people who want to do their DofE at BCA
Thanks to this fantastic offering, we will be kitting out our expedition stores and promoting the DofE award to more people – providing more of our young people the opportunity, which may not otherwise have been open to them, to develop ‘soft’ skills and attributes for life and the workplace.
