Best Individual Youth Performance Award

  By , ,

Matylda was nominated for the Best Individual Youth Performance Award, an outstanding achievement that placed her among only four other nominees from across Lincolnshire. This nomination recognized her performance in Annie with CAODS Lincoln at the New Theatre Royal, Lincoln.

She attended the awards ceremony at the Majestic Theatre, Retford, where performers and theatre groups from across the United Kingdom came together to celebrate excellence in amateur theatre.
In addition to Matylda’s personal nomination, Annie was also nominated for the Best Musical Award, reflecting the high standard of the entire production and the dedication of everyone involved.

U16 Netball

  By ,

The Under 16 girls travelled to Leicester to compete in the regional championships on Saturday, knowing a top two finish would secure their place at the national finals in March.

The girls went one better, winning the Regional tournament.

A remarkable achievement by the side of which seven of the squad are playing up a year. For those girls it will be their second visit to the Nationals in two years!

We would also like to thank Steve Wilson at ‘GRS signs’ and ‘Branston LTD’ for sponsoring the girls at the finals in March and providing them with a new kit for the event.

Finally, thank you to Miss Sprakes, Mrs Galvin-Todd and Mr McGrath for taking the girls on Saturday.

Cross Country

Huge congratulations to Y13 Charlie and Y11 Emily who competed in the Regional cross country championships at the weekend.

Charlie had already qualified for the National finals in Liverpool in March and we are hoping that this weekends performance will mean Emily has done the same.

As always massive thanks to Mr and Mrs Foot for accompanying both students on Saturday.
