Our Wellbeing Ambassadors have been getting ready for Wellbeing 2024; lots of plans in the making to continue supporting our students.
Some of our Sixth Form Community Ambassadors went along to the Festive Tea and Cake Event yesterday.
It was a lovely morning in which the students mingled with the visitors, chatted and sang along to Christmas songs.
The entertainment was provided by the Branston and District Ukulele Group.
Yesterday marked the first day of fundraising for this years chosen Sixth Form charity – Motor Neurone Disease Association; the charity was voted in by the Sixth Formers earlier this year.
The Sixth Formers and staff dressed in their pyjamas and spent their lunchtime watching The Polar Express and drinking hot chocolate.
Each tutor group submitted a photograph to enter an inter form contest to be the best dressed.
The support was amazing with most tutor groups having almost every student in their pyjamas.
They raised just over £100 to kick off their fundraising.
We hope you can join us for our Christmas Showcase this Thursday. We are looking forward to seeing some great performances.
Yesterday was the first full day rehearsal for this years musical “Singing in the Rain”.
The students were practising their lines, acting, dance routines and musical numbers in what looks like it will be another spectacular show.
We can’t wait for you all to see the final product during show week 5th – 9th February.
