As our Y13 wellbeing team begin exams and start to look forward to their next steps, we want to say a big thank you for all the support, kindness, and care you’ve shown the many students you have supported during this academic year.
You’ve made a real difference and your hard work never went unnoticed.
We wish you all the best for the future
Yesterday marked the first day of fundraising for this years chosen Sixth Form charity – Motor Neurone Disease Association; the charity was voted in by the Sixth Formers earlier this year.
The Sixth Formers and staff dressed in their pyjamas and spent their lunchtime watching The Polar Express and drinking hot chocolate.
Each tutor group submitted a photograph to enter an inter form contest to be the best dressed.
The support was amazing with most tutor groups having almost every student in their pyjamas.
They raised just over £100 to kick off their fundraising.

Our new Wellbeing Ambassadors are now actively supporting our students throughout the academy.
The team is made up of Y13 students who have completed and passed specific training which allows them to work across the whole school.
They are trained to offer advice and practical strategies which builds resilience and confidence for students.
They are a valuable asset to our already proactive wellbeing approach in school.
Students can identify them by their yellow lanyards and they are able to approach them if they have any issues, they are happy to help.
