Trip to RAF Coningsby

Mrs Watson took a group of students to RAF Coningsby. What a day! Students had an opportunity to visit 12 squadron where they got up close to a Typhoon. They got to ask questions to pilots and engineers as well as looking at some noisy jets taking off.

The afternoon was spent at The Battle of Britain Memorial flight where students experienced priceless artefacts of our national heritage and got to hear about some of the battles that they were involved in!

A good day had by all.
