Exam Certificate Collection.

Examination certificates for those candidates who sat exams during Summer 2025 will be available for collection from the Branston Community Academy school reception on Wednesday 14th January, between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
If someone is collecting the certificate on the candidate’s behalf, they must bring valid identification, and a signature will be required upon collection.
Result certificates are proof of education and will be required during additional education and employment therefore, it is important these are collected and kept safe.

Fright Club – Creative Writing Club News

We are able to share some fantastic news from Fright Club, our Creative Writing lunchtime club.

Well done
to 32 students whose fabulous ghost stories have been submitted for entry into a national writing competition.
Congratulations to one of our budding poets, who has just received their work in print in the Young Writers Annual Showcase 2025.
We look forward to welcoming our young writers (existing and new members) back next week.

STEM RTX Quadcopter Challenge 2025

A small team of Year 9 students entered this years STEM RTX Quadcopter Challenge. The team made it through the initial round of the competition with their ‘Dogcopter’  a machine designed to track and locate missing dogs for Doris Banham Dog Rescue in Retford. The three students involved (Joseph , George  and William) learnt how to build, modify, maintain and fly their drone.

Last Tuesday at the regional finals held at Kesteven and Sleaford High School in Sleaford they presented their completed drone in front of a panel of expert engineers and then had to fly it through a very challenging obstacle course in the quickest time. Despite some excellent flying from George the boys sadly were unable to secure a spot at the national finals in London, however I’m sure you will agree they did very well to get this far!Quad Copter challenge 2025
