Year 9 Enterprise day

We had an incredible day as our Level 3 BTEC Business students took the lead in organizing the “Year 9 Enterprise Day” on Tuesday 17th June.
The two sessions started with a fun and creative icebreaker – building spaghetti towers – which got everyone engaged and working together.
A highlight of the day was the interactive careers wheel, where students engaged with external Business Advisors, asking thoughtful questions and gaining real-life insight.
Our sixth formers then delivered an insightful session on different career pathways, covering Be Your Own Boss, Apprenticeships and Further Education.
To finish the sessions, students worked in teams to design an app for the school which focused on careers, showcasing their teamwork, creativity and problem-solving skills. Congratulations to Group 5 for winning in the AM session and Group 11 for winning in the PM session.
We were especially proud to hear our Business Advisors’ comment on how amazing, engaged and respectful our students were throughout the day.
A massive thank you to our brilliant Business Advisors who generously gave their time and shared their expertise – their support made a real difference!
We’re so proud of everyone involved – What a fantastic day of learning, inspiration and planning for future careers.
