Reporting Concerns

Students are often the first to notice if there is something seriously wrong with another student, whether that is something happening outside or inside school. Sometimes it is difficult to know what to do and sometimes nothing is done because we feel it is nothing to do with us or that to speak up would be telling tales , sometimes students  may feel that they will get into trouble for saying something or that they might get picked on by others.
At BCA we are committed to your safety and the safety of all the students in the Academy and it is our job to help and to act if this is in any way compromised.   If you or anyone you know is in a situation which you feel could cause harm to them or to others we encourage you to speak to a member of staff who will take your concern seriously and help you decide what the next steps should be.  In the first instance you should talk to your form tutor, if this is not appropriate then you should talk to your Head of School, any other teacher or a member of the senior team. Anything you say will never be discussed with other students except in consultation with you. Another way of letting us know is to eMail us at tell-us@branstonca.org

Remember if you ignore a situation or choose to do nothing, you are saying that whatever is happening is acceptable. We know from our students that you do feel safe and supported in school and this is at the heart of what makes our community so special. Please help us keep it this way.

E-Mail us your concerns using our dedicated email address: tell-us@branstonca.org. Or use the QR code to be taken where you need to go
